I am inspired by the world around me.

My art reflects my awe of the natural world. It is funny, as much as I like my interior environment controlled and tidy I love my nature untamed and wild. I spent my 20's exploring the United States, in particular its stunning collection of National Parks, and as I have traveled I have painted my way. 

Of all the artistic movements, I have always been particularly drawn to the impressionist; their pursuit to capture the fleeting moment. To be so enraptured in a moment, and to try to capture it. The work is never tidy-like, but somehow they feel more real than any fine chiaroscuro. 

I hope you will feel my love of nature and place expressed in my works.
